United Way Campaign Successful at Briggs

        At Briggs the United Way solicitors led by Sherry Kent successfully completed another United Way campaign. We would like to thank all the generous members that continue to contribute to this great cause. At the United Way agency, Hunger Task Force, our Local volunteered and packed over 600 boxes of food for the elderly. This is just one example of contributions to the United Way. If it didn't exist there wouldn't be any food for us to pack. Many agencies are contingent upon United Way funding and that's why it's imperative we all do our part.

        Sherry Kent, who has been in charge of the hourly solicitation for many years, will be turning the reigns over to John Langford III. Here's to Sherry for a job well done.
