Help needed for Health & Hygiene Drive

The Milwaukee County Labor Council’s 13th annual Health & Hygiene Drive is now underway. This drive collects health & hygiene items for the homeless and less fortunate. Last year the drive distributed nearly $100,000 of health & hygiene items to shelters throughout the area.

This drive collects items often not normally available in shelters and pantries.

Suggested items include: toothbrushes, toothpaste, non-alcohol mouthwash, razors, shaving cream, combs, brushes and hair picks, hair care products, spray deodorant, lip balm, baby products, feminine products, paper products, laundry supplies and first aid supplies.

Members may bring items to the April membership meeting or drop them off at the Local 7-232 Office. Donations in the form of check made payable to MCLC are also welcome. These donations permit the Labor Council to purchase items at discounts to donate to those in need.
