ACT NOW! PROTECT SOCIAL SECURITY FROM PRIVATIZATION! 

For nearly seventy years, Social Security has provided a guaranteed monthly income to millions of Americans – safe from the Wall Street roller coaster.  It’s a promise that has never been broken.

But today many politicians want to put Social Security into the stock market.  They would break the promise of guaranteed retirement benefit protection by turning Social Security into a privatized program.  Their private investment schemes for Social Security would drain the Trust Fund and cause large cuts in guaranteed benefits.  That means benefit cuts and more financial risk for everyone.

We have got to take action and stop them.

At a time when politicians are flip flopping and double-dealing on privatization, the Pledge makes them come clean and state whether they will oppose private account schemes for Social Security, now or ever.
