Convention delegates elected

At the June 20th membership meeting, members chose delegates for the Wisconsin State AFL-CIO Convention to be held in Madison in September.

Local 7-232 will be represented by eight delegates. Six delegates were elected and the President and Financial Secretary-Treasurer are automatic delegates per our by-laws. There is a conflict that may result in some change in our representation at the convention. The week of the convention, there will also be a training session for Union leaders presented by the PACE International Union. If membership decides to send him, Secretary-Treasurer Joe Chambers will attend the PACE training conference and the first alternate delegate will be sent to the convention.
