Briggs Retiree Club

          Our Spring Luncheon and Dance at Hart Park was enjoyed by many. Good to see you all once again.

          Next will be our Summer Picnics on June 20th and July 18th. Both will be at the Bowlero at 10:00 a.m. with free refreshments. Those who bought tickets for the chicken lunch must have them along at the time our box chicken lunch is served at both the picnics. You can bring your own lunch. We will play Bingo and have door prizes. Do plan to attend. They will be fun afternoons.

          August 20th will be our Luncheon and Dance at Hark Park. Doors open at 10:00 a.m. and activities start at noon.

          All you retirees come and join our Club and meet your old friends and make new ones. Call Erma Gorecki, our treasurer, for more information.

          With no sick members to mention, let us remember our members that are in nursing homes. Give them a visit or a call whenever you can. Let them know they are not forgotten.

          Let us pray this rain comes to an end. I, for one, sure am tired of it, as I am sure we all are. Time for some hot weather so that we can enjoy June, July and August. Hope you all have a healthy and enjoyable Summer. Hope to see you at all our Summer events.
