Maximum Unemployment Compensation benefit increased

      Effective January 1, 2002, the maximum weekly benefit for Unemployment Compensation in the State of Wisconsin increased from $313 to $324.

      In order to qualify for the maximum benefit of $324 per week and $8,424 per benefit year, (26 X $324) a worker must have earned at least $8,100 in their highest quarter and at least $21,060 in their qualifying base period.
