Briggs Retiree Club

     It sure was nice to see you all at our monthly meeting and good to have more new members joining our Briggs Retiree Club. All retirees come, meet some of your old friends, and make new ones.

     Dues are $24.00 a year or you may pay $12.00 twice a year from January to June and again from July to December. Call our Financial Secretary, Erma Gorecki for more information 781-8951. Also you are welcome to come to our monthly meeting on the third Wednesday of every month and join our Club. Hope to see you there!

     Remember in the month of your birthday or anniversary to bring a cake or treat to our meeting (3rd Wed. of every month). Also, you may bring your $3.00 for a door prize which are given at every meeting. Your name will be put in a bag and names are drawn for a prize at every meeting. Bingo is every second Wednesday of the month, 12:00 noon, at the Bowlero located at 11737 W. Burleigh St. On Thursday at 1:00 p.m. we have bowling there also. Cards are played on Tuesdays at 1:00 p.m. All members are welcome.

     Let us remember to give our thanks to Briggs & Stratton for their help in keeping our "Briggs Retiree Club" going and to PACE Local 7-232 for putting my monthly Retiree write up in their Reporter. Thanks a lot to both of you.

     Remember our sick and shut-ins: Antoinette Kuzomewski, Donna Bailey, Ann Schmidt, and Josephine Bungert. Our sympathy goes out to the family of Marianne Drewek.
