Annie Wacker endorsed for Milwaukee School Board

Local 7232 took action at the January 24th membership meeting to endorse Annie Wacker to fill the open position on the Milwaukee Public School Board in the first district.

Wacker worked for the school system for 14 years in a number of schools and the Central Services Building. She also led the union representing clerical staff for eight years. Her four children all attended and graduated from Milwaukee Public Schools.

She has pledged to foster a safe learning environment for children that encourages increased parental involvement. She believes all children deserve the very best education.

Members living in District One are encouraged to vote for Annie Wacker in the primary election on February 19th.
