Campbell, Winklbauer & Dennis Clark not opposed for Executive Board

Colin Campbell

Ross Winklbauer

Dennis Clark

At the January 24th membership meeting, Vice President Colin Campbell and Briggs and Stratton Trustee Ross Winklbauer were not opposed for re-election. Sergeant at Arms Dennis Clark and one other member, Joe Vogds, were nominated for that position. Vogds did not submit an acceptance for the nomination, so Clark is not opposed for the position.

Other positions attracted several candidates for the elections to be held in February and March.

3 Candidates for President

Four candidates were nominated for president. Greg Gorecki, Richard Clark, John Nalepinski and Mike Parsons were all nominated. Nalepinski declined the nomination. Gorecki, Clark & Parsons will be on the ballot for the February 8th primary, with the two candidates receiving the most votes moving to the March 8th final election.

Financial Secretary-Treasurer

Joe Chambers and Elmer Moesch were nominated for Financial Secretary Treasurer and will be on the ballot March 8th.

Recording Secretary

Scott Godshaw, Lisa Stolze and Cathy McBride were nominated for Recording Secretary. Stolze did not accept nomination, so Godshaw and McBride will face off in the March election.

Strattec Trustee

Strattec Trustee, Ralph Schwieger will be challenged by Chuck Porter in the general election.

Guide

In the Guide position, incumbent Carol Aumann did not seek re-election. The opening drew five candidates, Debra Washington, Randy Doering, Dorothy Evans, Greg Weber and Jerry Eckhart. All five will be in the February 8th primary election with the top two moving on the final election on March 8th.

Strattec Bargaining Committee

The two positions on the Strattec Bargaining Committee attracted seven candidates. Incumbents Dennis Nowak and Al Belanger will be challenged by Chris Larson, Al Olivares, Nancy Lesniewski, Ken Checkai, and Debra (Figueroa) Smith. Members at Strattec will vote for two candidates for this position in the February 8th primary and the top four candidates will move to the March 8th final election.
