Jesse Edwards and John Nalepinski re-elected without opposition as Grievance Reps

Jesse Edwards and John Nalepinski were re-elected by acclamation at the January 25th membership meeting. They were nominated without opposition to continue in the positions they currently hold.

Edwards is the grievance rep on second shift for the Burleigh and Menomonee Falls Plant. He was elected to that position in 1997. This will be his third term. Prior to being elected grievance rep, Edwards had been a steward and an alternate grievance rep. He has been sent to numerous courses at the School for Workers and has represented Local 7-232 as a delegate at two International conventions and three conventions of the State AFL-CIO.

Nalepinski is the Grievance Rep for the West Allis Plant completing his first term. Prior to being elected grievance rep, John was an alternate steward, steward and alternate grievance rep.

The new terms for Edwards and Nalepinski will run until March of 2003. It is anticipated that Briggs will move entirely out of the West Allis Plant before that, eliminating the position of West Allis grievance rep.
