Nomination and Election Notice

At the January 24, 2001 membership meeting, nominations will be take for the following positions

Members must have 12 months continuous good standing in the Local to run for these offices. Member must be employed at Briggs & Stratton to run for Briggs & Stratton Trustee. Member must be employed at Strattec Security to run for Strattec Security Trustee or the two (2) positions on the Strattec Bargaining Committee.

Members nominated must accept nomination in writing to the Recording Secretary prior to, or within 48 hours of the end of, the nomination meeting.

If needed, a Primary Election to eliminate all but two candidates for Executive Board positions, and to eliminate all but 4 candidates for the Strattec Bargaining Committee, will be held on February 8th.

Final Election for all positions will be held on March 8th. The Election Committee will set the locations. The designated times and locations will be in the next edition of the Local 7-232 Reporter.
